Nine-time surfing world champion and surfing’s greatest ambassador, Kelly Slater, was recently interviewed on NPR’s (National Public Radio) informative quiz show, Wait, Wait… Don’t Tell Me!. While Kelly has been keeping busy between contests with ESPN SportsCenter interviews, filming his Cloud 9 surf movie and putting the final touches on The Ultimate Wave IMAX movie, it is good to see him chewing the fat with the NPR crew.
After exchanging pleasantries, the NPR crew bombarded Kelly Slater in a quiz segment entitled, ‘Surfing’s Great, But Are There Nachos?‘. Did Kelly handle the three questions about bowling as smoothly as his backside drop at Teahupoo?
