On the strength of his new Nike Skateboarding shoe, The Zoom Air Paul Rodriguez III, Nike SB has released a new commercial to get us all pumped for the release of the new P Rod kicks. Staying true to Nike’s tradition of great advertisements, the new Paul Rodriguez Nike commercial is a remake of Ice Cube’s 1993 music video for ‘Today Was A Good Day’. The commercial features a glimpse of skate legend Lance Mountain and the skateboarding of Eric Koston, Theotis Beasley and, of course, Paul Rodriguez. P Rod even drops a big kickflip in front of Kobe Bryant.
The Nike Zoom Air Paul Rodriguez III will be available on August 8, 2009.
