Hanalei local, two-time winning women’s Pipeline champion and current ASP Women’s World Tour contestant, Alana Blanchard, recently sat down with one of her sponsors, Spy Optic, for a quick interview about her blossoming surf career.
The interview covers Alana’s dream surf trips and numerous pictures of her throwing spray. As Alana mentions that she would like to correct her butt from sticking out so much while surfing, this hard-hitting action sports journalist needed to do further research to verify the facts. After careful review and much diligence, I was unable to find photographic evidence of this flaw in surfing form.
