SK8FACE Skateboarding Documentary

Tue, Mar 24, 2009

SK8FACE is a skateboard documentary slated to be released later this year. The film covers the transformation of what used to be a simple piece of wood to a ‘canvas’ of artistic expression. From before Powell Peralta’s skulls and rats to Rocco’s World Industries to you and your buddies tattooing your griptape with crayons, this movie is all about skateboard art. The film features interviews with skateboard legends like Tommy Guerrero, Lance Mountain, Steve Olson, Chris Miller and the mastermind behind Obey, Shepard Fairey.
