As Darell was paying homage to hip hop legend Slick Rick in designing his new deck, I thought I was going to bear witness to the most blinged out kickflip in the history of skateboarding (Slick Rick ala 1999’s The Art of Storytelling). Unfortunately, Darell rocked the skinny tie and beret instead (Slick Rick ala 1988’s The Great Adventures of Slick Rick).
One way or the other, they don’t call Slick Rick ‘The Ruler’ for nothing. Go download his hip hop mastery and then go rule the streets on Darell Stanton’s new ride.
